MWBA is a nonprofit club built to give every Magic Valley player a pathway to develop. Pick the level that fits your family:

Club Travel Teams - Our most competitive level. Tryout-based boys and girls teams that train weekly and play top tournaments across the West.

Academy Teams - Team practices and local games for players who want to grow their game without a full travel commitment.
​
IMPACT Training - Skill sessions, clinics and camps open to every player. No tryout needed.

How to get started
1. Choose a program above.
2. Register and pay online through our Playbook portal. One family account covers all your players.
3. Download the Playbook app for schedules, updates and team messages.

Answers to the questions we hear most.
What ages do you serve?
Boys and girls from our youngest Little Tykes players up through high school. Each program lists its grade range at registration.

Do you hold tryouts and make cuts?
Yes. Club Travel teams are selected through tryouts before each season. IMPACT training is open to every player, so every athlete has a place to keep developing.

When are tryouts?
Before each season. Dates are posted in Playbook and on Instagram @mwbabasketball.
​
Where do teams practice?
In local school gyms around the Magic Valley. Your team's exact times and locations are in the Playbook app.

How much travel is involved?
Travel teams play tournaments around the region. Academy teams play mostly local games. Coaches share the tournament schedule at the start of each season.

Is financial help available?
Yes. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we never want cost to keep a player off the court. Use the request form below.
